Anthropic and DXC Technology Launch Global Alliance to Embed Claude in Enterprise Systems

Anthropic and DXC Technology, one of the world's largest IT services companies, on Tuesday announced a multi-year global alliance that will bring Claude AI into the systems DXC runs for some of the biggest banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers, and government agencies.

Under the deal, DXC plans to train tens of thousands of its forward-deployed engineers, specialists embedded inside customer organizations, to become Claude-certified through Anthropic Academy. DXC has also built a custom curriculum tailored to the highly regulated, compliance-heavy environments its customers operate in.

Proven inside DXC's own operations

Before rolling Claude out to clients, DXC put the AI to work internally across its own operations, which span 115,000 employees in 70 countries. The company says Claude generated more than 95% of the code for DXC OASIS, its new AI-native orchestration platform for managed services. DXC estimates that Claude sped up software development by a factor of 10.

Launched in April 2026, OASIS is a tool for running customer IT systems. AI agents handle much of the routine work, and Claude is now the default foundation model powering the platform's agentic workflows. OASIS already serves more than 50 DXC customers, with plans for a global rollout.

Four initial focus areas

The alliance will begin in four sectors where DXC already runs large-scale operations for customers:

  • Insurance, DXC will use Claude to deliver agentic solutions and modernize core systems, factoring in each customer's business context and strategic needs.
  • Modernization as a Service (MaaS), Claude will help enterprise customers analyze, refactor, and modernize legacy codebases faster and with greater accuracy.
  • Cybersecurity, DXC is developing an always-on security engineer subagent built on Claude Security, to be deployed across its security operations centers.
  • Application services, Claude will be embedded directly into the application maintenance and management environments DXC operates for enterprise customers.

Partner network expansion

DXC is also joining the Claude Partner Network, Anthropic's network of consulting and services firms that bring Claude to enterprise clients.

“DXC helps the world’s largest banks, airlines, insurers, and government agencies put new technology to work,” said Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer at Anthropic. “They proved Claude inside their own operations first, under the same security and compliance requirements their customers face. Now we’re bringing Claude inside those environments together, industry by industry, with engineers who have already done it themselves.”

Raul Fernandez, President and CEO of DXC Technology, added: “For more than 50 years, DXC and the companies it was built from run the systems that run the world. We know what it takes to deliver in these environments. This alliance with Anthropic combines trust and experience with the most advanced AI technology available, and gives our customers something they cannot get anywhere else. This is a defining moment for DXC and for the industry.”

The announcement comes amid a broader push by AI labs to embed their models into the operational backbone of heavily regulated industries, where security, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable. Anthropic's partnership with DXC represents one of the largest such deployments to date, leveraging DXC's decades-long relationships with enterprise clients.
