How to generate articles with the new seventnews platform
seventnews introduces an article generation feature that simplifies content creation from structured inputs. Currently in beta, the tool reduces time from source to publication.

seventnews launched a new article generation feature for contributors. The system takes structured source data -- news releases, reports, data sets -- and produces a formatted draft ready for review.
The feature is in a limited beta available to a subset of contributors. Early testers say it cuts time spent on routine formatting, freeing them to focus on analysis and storytelling.
How it works
Contributors select the 'Generate Article from Source' option in the CMS. They paste or upload source material -- a URL, text, or PDF. The system processes the input and returns a draft with a headline, lead, body paragraphs, and tags. Users can edit the draft before publishing.
Quality and control
The engine uses large language model-based summarization and structure detection. The beta focuses on factual accuracy and editorial tone, with human review mandatory before publication. Seventnews says the tool is an aid, not a replacement for journalistic oversight.
Roadmap
Planned improvements for the full release include multi-source synthesis, automatic fact-checking against the provided source, and multimedia embedding support. A broader rollout is expected later this year.
